Men's snowboard bindings have many variations and many substantial differences starting from the 4x4 2x4 3D or EST interface mode; the structure of the stem which can be with long or short glass fiber, with carbon or simple polycarbonate, making the stem more or less rigid. The bases of the bindings also have a surface which, depending on the brand, can have various characteristics, from the combination of more or less cushioning materials to absorb shocks from landings or other evolutions up to a set of compounds that allow the foot to lean slightly inward to ensure that the joints are not stressed too much. Also important is how the Spoiler or Hi-back is developed, which allows the leg to be kept in a more forward-leaning or more neutral position, as well as having materials that offer a particular grip to make the boot adhere and "cage" better. Then we have the cap strap and the ankle strap (front and rear band) which also, based on their size, construction materials, and ergonomics, keep the foot blocked by wrapping it in a more or less accentuated way. Also very important are the ratchets which, together with the thousand lines, regulate the tension of the straps to tighten the boot.
