With the fast, grippy shape of the Sci-Fly XR but with a stronger construction that allows for a harder ride. The proven Sci-Fly XR has been placed in a second construction known as the XT. This construction is built even stronger to handle big air with hard landings and the possibility of being thrown to the ground by waves. The quad fin and nose stub provide a fast, agile shape that allows for tight, hard turns with plenty of grip. The advanced, complex hull design of the Sci-Fly The quad fin configuration provides more thrust and grip while preventing slippage during powerful turns. The WINGED DIAMOND TAIL has a sharp, key shape during turns with plenty of grip and a clean release when exiting the water. Carbon spars on both the top and bottom provide strength and rigidity. Carbon fiber rail patches along the tail help prevent cracks, heel dings and damage from hard landings and deep inputs. The FCS II PERFORMER & CARVER fins do not require any tools: just insert and disengage. They are fast, easy, convenient and safe. Carver in the rear and Performer in the front for the best balance between grip, rotation and power. An intricate manufacturing process, XT Construction, is what makes the Sci-Fly XT built to handle the maximum impacts of tethered aerial maneuvers. An epoxy/bamboo sandwich serves as the base with heavy PVC foam reinforcements on the deck and additional fiberglass reinforcements under the foot straps and on the fin boxes.
