The Jones Mind Expander is an all-mountain board perfect for carving turns, floating and doing tricks. Surf shapers Chris Christenson and Jeremy Jones designed the Mind Expander for creative line drawing riders who mix freestyle, freeride and surf styles. The blunt nose, full size tail, tight sidecut and 3D Contour Base 3.0 offer the agile maneuverability of a directional board combined with the all-mountain performance of a directional twin. The Mind Expander features a Surf Camber profile, with camber underfoot for better edge hold in variable conditions. To maintain the playful feel of the board, the Mind Expander's Bamboo Surf Core has a V-core profile which gives the board a softer flex between the feet for easier turn initiation and a stiffer flex in the tips so you don't bend the nose. The Mind Expander is also built with Basalt Power Stringers for edge response, rounded Recycled ABS sidewalls for topsheet durability, and a super fast Sintered 8000 base.
