The Duotone Silver Series booms are made of High-Tech 7075 aluminum which gives greater rigidity to the tubes. The new combination of a round tube in the front area (the holding forces act obliquely downwards, so it is stiffer in these parts) and the oval tail section (horizontal pull of the sail, so the oval tube is stiffer here). This makes the entire Silver boom about 30% stiffer. Together with the hardened front bow it results in enormous hardness and durability. The wave-oriented Silver booms consist of three segments and have a one-piece aluminum rear arch in addition to the intelligent iFRONT 2.0 front end. Together with the 28mm RDM tubes, it creates the ideal combination of stiffness and comfort. The bend curve applies even pull to the shaft and backhand. The 180 and 200 cm lengths with performance bend curve are specific for freeride sails and a tube diameter of 30 mm to ensure maximum rigidity. The solid PROTECTION GRIP coating on the outside effectively prevents damage to the coating when rigging. The entire Silver boom line is equipped with the brand new VTS TAIL fitting. In combination with the 2022 Duotone sails, the VTS TAIL fitting offers for the first time a clear visual indication for perfect sail tension (patent pending).
