Technical information

The Unit will thrill you from the first flight: light, with a great and stable lift, but at the same time incredibly manageable and easy to control thanks to the new rigid handles. To design the new Unit we had set ourselves a simple goal: to create a stable wing, capable of following you naturally, without pulling to the right or left, up or down when weakened on the wave. At the same time, we wanted to create a model capable of generating greater upward lift to improve flight time in jumps and maneuverability in maneuvers, as well as ensuring control and maneuverability similar to those provided by a boom. The result is simply magnificent. Unit proved to be the best performing wing we have built so far, with unmatched flight performance. The slightly wider wingspan gives this model great de-powered flight stability on the wave and a considerably longer flight time in jumps. However, together with the dihedral angle, this feature still makes it easy to manage for less experienced riders. The increased number of leading edge transmissions and panels allowed designer Ken Winner to refine the tension of the canopy and reduce its twisting. In addition, the changes made to the window have made it possible to reduce weight without compromising comfort and safety. The airflow simulations contributed to the final changes and attention to detail, making the Unit wing light in the hands, with incredible upward thrust in turns and jibes, and with immediate response when needed. Forget everything you know about wings with handles, the new rigid handle with screw fixing still offers a "pump and go" simplicity, but makes the wing more reactive and direct than the models with handles you have already tried.
