The ORIGIN was developed for anyone who wants to discover Wing Foiling today with all the current know-how and experience of F-One, as well as for all those nostalgic for the first F-One wings. The ORIGIN benefits from extensive sailing engineering work carried out over the years, including new designs and the most modern technologies and materials. An absolute dream at the low end, the ORIGIN is a super comfortable, lightweight, forgiving and accessible all-round wing that feels easy to fly. It allows for easier takeoffs with minimal pumping and just enough speed to get started. Both beginners and experts will appreciate its very efficient and intuitive pumping thanks to its flexibility, as well as its super smooth take-offs. This wing is the softest and most comfortable in the F-One range. The ORIGIN also offers intuitive power delivery with very few adjustments needed once in the air. Just roll up the foil and let it foil you. Its controlled speed allows you to navigate without excessive effort or fatigue. ORIGIN is for everyone. It is the ideal choice for riders who want to spend long hours on the water, for those who use foils and larger boards and need easy power for planing starts, or for beginners looking for a high quality sail with great potential of evolution and progress. Its light weight really sets it apart from our other wings, making it perfect for low-end free flying too. The ORIGIN is a great addition to your quiver as a light wind wing. Although inspired by the STRIKE and SWING, the design of the ORIGIN has been optimized to ensure the greatest possible lightness and comfort. With staggered seams, the fabric and its stitching work better to maintain a smooth, efficient profile and to reduce wing shape deformation under load. The profile control is ideal for ensuring total stability and comfort while pedaling. Small radial cuts are implemented on the wingtips and rear of the strut to distribute stress. Aligning the fiber exactly along the load paths means that elongation can be controlled to a degree never before seen on a wing. Located on the rear of the mast, the refined load spreader made of overlapping panels of rigid Mylar and Dacron further helps maintain the profile sleek and efficient, ensuring maximum stability, performance and longevity. The strut and the two central leading edge segments on each side of the strut are made of HITEX 158g. This high tenacity polyester offers great resistance to elongation and therefore greater durability and performance. The remaining leading edge segments are made of 150g Dacron to ensure lightness and comfort. The ORIGIN's shell is 52g TECHNOFORCE™/D2, while the thicker 66g TECHNOFORCE™/D2 is on the trailing edge, just like the STRIKE. These materials are perfectly distributed to account for the different tensions, high pressures and weight distribution of each area. Like the latest editions of the other F-One wings, the central strut is completely straight, which allows you to better control its deformation and possible twisting, while at the same time reducing drag. As a result, the filling is a little lower and warps less, and is extended almost all the way to the back. The ORIGIN is equipped with the new interchangeable grip system: soft, hybrid or completely rigid, the choice is yours. The wings come with pre-installed soft handles, but it is now possible for riders to customize the handles to their preferences.
