The new edition of the SHADOW has all the qualities of the previous board but has been made a little faster with even more control. Its shape and round tail continue to offer the best glide and maneuverability like no other. Designed to inspire confidence in every turn and rail-to-rail transfers, the Camel Deck and its moderate volume offer the perfect amount of control. This year the SHADOW features a slightly deeper concavity on the bottom in the area between the front and rear feet, which increases its speed and planning potential. The board therefore carries more speed and goes upwind better to catch even more waves. This new SHADOW feels even more comfortable in a wider variety of waves and will surprise you with its cornering acceleration potential, effortlessly propelling you to the next move or section. The transition to the tail is slightly wider, which straightens the contour of the board in the area between the feet. This brings more stability for more relaxed sailing and better low end, thus revealing new potential in lighter winds. The rails are sharper and thinner towards the tail too, allowing for better control and crisper turns. Perfectly balanced and comfortable, this new SHADOW handles speed exceptionally well and loves making long carves as much as super snappy turns. Changing feet, tacking and jibing is easy and effortless. It feels lively underfoot, providing plenty of feedback for engaging in big or powerful vertical turns. Big, clean and particularly powerful waves are best suited to this board and its high responsiveness, where it can really show its speed potential and fantastic carving capabilities. SHADOW is constructed using HD Foam Flex Composite technology, with optimized flex for maximum reliability, comfort and maneuverability. The mechanical characteristics achieved by this construction provide a lighter weight and a perfect, classic surfboard feel. Shock absorbers are placed under the padding to increase the durability of the board and provide extra comfort as they effectively absorb all impacts for riders. The 5'4 board comes with a set of F-ONE Flow Carbon XS fins. The 5'6 and 5'8 models come with a set of F-ONE Flow Carbon M fins.
