The Ozone Apex is a lightweight, low volume board built for freeriding. It is ultra-durable thanks to top-of-the-range materials and construction techniques. It offers endless potential for freeriding and carving in the waves, fast and fun. In any condition the Apex excels. The low-volume design allows riders to hold the board on its side for effortless water starts without straps. A forgiving outline and wide surface area facilitate launches and transitions, while accentuated rocker and beveled rails smooth touchdowns and reduce nose dive. The unique dual-slot mounting system with our custom low-profile Titanium T-Nut Deck washers provides an incredibly strong shaft-to-board connection and allows for quick and easy adjustment of shaft position. T-Nut Bridge Washers are compatible with M6 bolts to mount various foils to your Apex board. The Apex features a large EVA deckpad that offers a comfortable grip, it can be flown without straps or with reinforced M6 inserts that offer various strap position options. Deck straps and hardware are sold separately in two options: 3 standard straps or 1 standard strap and 1 long strap. The construction is very sturdy, offering maximum feel and performance while being tough and durable for jumping and traveling. The high-density foam core is laminated with a hybrid carbon and fiberglass layup. Robust top and bottom sheets combined with our advanced sidewall polymer provide excellent impact resistance.
