There are two Impact jackets by Duotone, one model suitable for raiders who use the seat trapeze and the other for the use of the band harness. The difference? The impact jackets suitable for the use of the banded trapeze have the abdominal and lumbar area without padding, as the trapeze is positioned in that area. The presence of material under the trapeze could cause discomfort or over time the padding could curl and consequently feel more pressure, as well as ruining the jacket faster. The suitable impact for the seat trapeze instead has the padding on the whole trapeze in order to protect you on the whole bust, ending up near the seat. Duotone jackets are not approved buoyancy jackets, but are intended to protect you from any blows caused by the equipment or from falls into the water. They are simply an aid to staying afloat but they do not provide you with any buoyancy in the event of an accident.
