The peculiarity that immediately catches the eye of Arbor boards is the simplicity of the graphics and topsheet with exposed wood. Arbor uses The System on their Rocker and Camber boards. You won't find any board with a hybrid profile in the Arbor collection because according to the company the hybrid profile sacrifices some inherent advantages of the Rocker and Camber profiles. The System was developed to improve the advantages of Rocker and Camber depending on the rider's needs. The System Rocker offers a plush, natural ride with plenty of float, while The System Camber has drive Lively and responsive with high performance. All Arbor boards feature the Grip Tech system. This revolutionary tri-radial sidecut system provides a direct and ergonomic way to get the edges to grip the snow when extra control is needed. On boards with The System Camber the contact points have also been raised by 3º to avoid unpleasant edge hitches, Arbor has called this innovation Uprise. all these technical details are combined with Parabolic Profiling. The System Rocker thanks to this "Parabolic Arc" manages to get the outermost contact points of the board close enough to the snow to engage when maximum performance is required: higher speeds, fully loaded turns and bigger landings. While on The System Camber ensures that the external contact points don't dig too far into the snow, creating a cleaner, less aggressive performance that makes it easier to turn and ride fast. Arbor decks are built with the unique Powerply topsheet made from sustainably sourced wood or bamboo. The Power Ply works like an extra layer of fiberglass. During construction, natural wood or bamboo fibers are processed into a composite layer within the board. Ultimately, the Power Ply process improves performance, board life, finish quality, and decreases reliance on glues, coatings, and composites.
