The K2 Hanford snowboard boot has all the features of a high-end boot at a more moderate price. The This Grips!™ sole has two different densities of rubber strategically positioned to ensure the best possible grip on ice and all types of snow. The all-EVA midsole is supported by impact-resistant Harshmellow™ material, which helps reduce vibrations and cushion the hardest landings. Less ankle vibration means your feet feel comfortable and fresh all day. Inside, the multi-density control foam liner features thermoformable foam from Intuition®. As an industry leader, Intuition® foam is lightweight, durable, warm and has excellent memory, meaning it conforms to the shape of your foot and stays that way. This is wrapped in the K2 3-point harness: holds the ankle in place for stability and reduces heel lift for maximum board control. The patented Endo™ construction keeps this snowboard boot extremely light. Replacing the boot's traditional heel support with an injected polyester material allows you to change the flex and extension of the Hanford without adding extra weight. Endo™ construction helps maintain the boot's flexibility throughout its life and adds an extra level of durability. The dual-zone BOA® Fit system allows riders to adjust the top and bottom of the snowboard boot independently of each other, accommodating more foot shapes than a standard single BOA® boot normally would.
