The K2 Holgate is a robust and flexible snowboard boot, built to push the limits and uses only the latest technology. The Holgate features a reinforced rubber tip that is resistant to abrasion and helps give that extra touch of grip to the toe of the binding. The heel support was designed using Endo™ 2.0 construction, a urethane heel support that allows you to change the flex and extension of the boot without adding additional materials. This extends the life of the boot and adds a layer of protection to protect it from abrasion from bindings. The Holgate's lacing system consists of two BOA® Fit System coils. The H4 Coiler BOA® Fit System external coil helps provide a stable and secure closure throughout the boot. The BOA® coil located on the lateral side of the shell controls the Conda™ liner lacing system, giving you maximum control over the fit of the boot and keeping the heel locked into the bottom of the footbed for power transfer when you need it most. The Holgate has the most supportive liner, composed of multiple densities of heat-moldable Intuition® foam. This open cell foam that can be reshaped over and over again to achieve the perfect fit for the life of the boot. The lining features breathable, heat-reflecting Spaceheater™ material, keeping your feet warm and dry all day. Finally, integrated into the lining is SCafe™ 95% post-consumer recycled coffee mesh to help eliminate unwanted odors after a long day on the mountain. Underfoot, the midsole combines a lightweight, stable EVA and Harshmellow™, a K2 technology that helps absorb impact, increase damping and provide a "quieter" feel when snowboarding. The sole of the boot is the ALL-NEW Vibram® V5, which provides unparalleled traction on all types of snow and is made using at least 30% recycled rubber through the Vibram® Ecostep program.
