Burton pays particular attention to the development and production of Burton men's snowboard boots, putting the fit first, which must be comfortable and precise. For this reason, they produce the inner shoe by changing it every half number so that the play between the shell and the liner is minimize and the foot is as comfortable as possible in a firm and bandaged position. Burton boots use Imprint liners that are heat moldable and have an internal closure system for a snug and precise fit. The various technologies allow the foot to remain warm and dry and based on the boot model we will have different types of liners and differently structured shells to give the necessary support. The soles are engineered for an adequate grip for use. Many boot models are offered in two variants, with Speed Zone lacing system or Boa® Technology in order to satisfy every need. The optimized EST® midsole lowers the center of gravity and improves board feel without sacrificing comfort. Also used on many models is the Vibram® Traction Lug outsole with EcoStep™ rubber that offers more surface area for more contact points that grip the ground in a lighter weight package that uses 30% recycled rubber content. The countless innovations that Burton has brought to the world of snowboarding mean that all these fundamental features are now also used on the Step On® quick coupling system. Be aware though that Burton Step On® boots are only compatible with Burton Step On® bindings.
