This makes learning to snowboard both regular and alternative as easy as possible because the snowboard will feel identical in both directions. The Standard features the Rocker profile, flat between the bindings and wobbling just outside the bindings, for extremely easy turn initiation and edge release. An easier release means fewer falls, less time for breaks, more time on the mountain and faster progression. Inside the K2 Standard is made from a sustainably harvested aspen wood core, which offers forgiving flexibility while remaining playful to pop olly and your first jumps. The biaxially woven fiberglass hugs the poplar's soul, giving the board the edge grip it needs to handle higher speeds as you advance and explore new terrain.
