IRID® lenses work thanks to a special liquid crystal powered by a small solar cell, controlled by electronics. Covering every shade from category 1 to category 3, they are therefore perfect for low light conditions such as a tunnel or early morning lights, and for bright light conditions. Furthermore, they don't just have two or three shades, but cover the entire range, perfectly following the needs of your eyes. Bots 2 do not have any type of battery. Not even a tiny one. So you will never have to charge them, and they will always be ready to be used. Not having batteries also means they are as light and durable as a normal pair of glasses.
