Technical information

The completely redesigned F_PACE range consists of two differently designed models, which up to size 5.8 are clearly described as F_PACE STYLE while 6.4 and 7.4 as F_PACE RIDE. But both designs have one thing in common: They are enriched with countless foil-specific design features that have a decisive influence on the performance and result in extraordinary characteristics in the respective spectrum. Only 4 (STYLE) or 5 (RIDE) battens, a super short boom and a reduced luff curve combine to produce a favorably soft and very light foil sail. The high appearance of the profile with reduced upper surface corresponds perfectly to the low water resistance of the hydrofoil and the hardly existing lateral forces. With less movement at the top, the rig remains stable on the board, for maximum control yet very responsive. The foot closes perfectly with the deck and allows extreme angles against the wind, especially on the F_PACE RIDE with the extended foot splint, but thanks to the extremely concave profile without any negative influence on handling! The new externally added SLEEVE INDUCERS combine the best of both worlds: super-fast rigging and rotation of a camless sail combined with the optimized aerodynamics of a cam sail. Together with the narrow leech, they allow the F_PACE to start flying even in the slightest breeze. If you really need to pump, the sail's low foil tension immediately creates effective propulsion and acceleration. Especially on the F_PACE STYLE the extremely short boom, 4 super easy rotating battens and the low weight result in playful handling requiring difficult maneuvers and movements: lots of propulsion, minimized swing weight and, if necessary, spontaneous on-off. This also makes them the ideal companion for the windiest days.
