Technical information

Compared to traditional fin sails, the Duotone F_PACE CAM has approximately 70% less resistance on the foil. The most important factor for high performance foil sails is the balance between control and performance/speed over a maximum wind range combined with effortless handling. Compared to the normal F_PACE, the F_PACE CAM has an additional sixth slat and 2 HYPER CAM 2.0 + 2 SLEEVE INDUCERS. Furthermore, the F_PACE CAM is designed around SDM trees. All this leads to much more performance-oriented behavior over a wide wind range. The elevated appearance with small upper surface corresponds perfectly to the low water resistance of the hydrofoil and the almost non-existent lateral forces. With less movement at the top, the rig remains stable on the board, for maximum control yet very responsive. The foot closes perfectly with the deck and allows extreme angles against the wind with the batten extended, but thanks to the extremely concave profile without any negative influence on maneuverability! All sizes now feature an XPly top panel. The slightly more elastic XPly improves control in strong winds and keeps the leech stable. Another important improvement to improve control is the reduced profile of the 6 cue which moves the main power to the center. The F_PACE CAM redefines the benchmark of the control:performance:wind range ratio. And all this combined with effortless handling and extremely smooth rotation so that even intermediate riders can choose the F_PACE CAM.
