One of the most iconic freewave wings ever. Duotone's new Super Star does great on multifin and single fin boards even in jumping conditions. Thanks to the higher and forward oriented diving position, the sail is more reactive and direct but much lighter. The construction of the Super Star in XPLY PLUS laminate is very resistant, meaning fewer punctures and more resistance to UV rays. Taking the place of the Super Session, the Super Star has 4 battens (excluding 6.2) but is sportier and obviously modernized. The Super Star is designed for waves but due to its forward facing profile position it has a very wide performance range up to free wave jumping conditions. This makes it suitable not only for perfect days in classic down the line conditions, but also for numerous sessions in gusty, sometimes undersized onshore conditions. The forward and slightly higher draft position plays an important role. The feeling it gives you is immediate right away. The SUPER STAR will always feel light and balanced in your hands, but it reacts very directly and instantly, even when it comes to turning it on and off. Going down the line it instantly turns on or off for up and down turns, shines with non-resistant batten rotation, and generates enough power even in onshore winds to attack the next wave. As the glider generates more lift in the upper area, the board rises to improve glide power. The forward draft ensures that forward jumps are easier to initiate and quicker to rotate even at lower speeds and with less wind.
