CAPiTA snowboards are handmade in Austria with 100% clean energy in their own production facility. The Core or Soul is the essential element that determines the key character traits of a snowboard and serves as the primary building block for everything that goes into a board. Every CAPiTA board starts with a dedicated wood core that allows for smooth flex, increased turning control, and incredibly fast response. Different wood species, along with custom core profiles, help give each board a unique feel and targeted flex. CAPiTA have designed a number of wood core compositions, each with distinctive characteristics, to ensure we have your ideal snowboard. All CAPiTA boards are made with fiberglass laminated on the top and bottom and resined with a technological process that ensures a calculated quantity of resin per board to guarantee the achievement of the correct resin/glass ratio. This eliminates potential dry spots, prevents delamination and ensures that no weight is added by excess resin. In the resin phase the MAGIC BEAN™ is used, a resin that has a biological content of 60% of renewable agricultural raw material. CAPiTA has developed a variety of profiles ranging from Camber to Flat with numerous variations to allow you to have the perfect profile according to your needs. All boards have a small rocker in the pint and tail that varies in size according to the chosen profile. On some boards the FLAT KICK technology is also used which makes the tip and tail slightly flatter increasing jibbing stability and helps the board plan over the powder creating float and control. One of the strong points of CAPiTA and also one of the things that distinguishes it from all the other brands is the graphic part.
