Arbor launched its snowboard line in 1995, immediately paying attention to eco-sustainability and its importance for snowboarding. They were the first to replace the plastic topsheet with a responsibly sourced wood veneer, dramatically improving performance. Arbor has also pioneered the use of bamboo, bioplastics and other recycled, reclaimed and renewable material alternatives. For over two decades they have transformed rider-oriented design into the highest possible quality of handcrafted snowboard products while drastically minimizing the impact on the planet. The System is Arbor's primary design platform. Developed to enhance true rocker and camber designs while maintaining their integrity without merging them into a hybrid design. Believing that the hybrid sacrifices some of the inherent benefits of any design philosophy. The System is an advanced rocker and camber design that enhances the benefits of each profile based on each rider's needs. Whether you prefer the crisp, fully challenging performance of camber, or the buttery, surfy feel of rocker, The System creates a clean and effective connection to the snow, delivering a smooth ride with advanced control. Grip Tech is a tri-radial sidecut design that is not "blended". The natural molding intersections, which were previously eliminated, have been transformed into heel and toe contact points that provide a direct and ergonomic way when control is needed. The extra contacts also form pivot zones that make turning easier and more natural. Grip Tech is present on all Arbor boards, an effective system of edges that under the toes and under the heel allows you to have much more grip on hard snow. Also on the camber models the contact points on the nose and tail have been raised by 3° with the Uprise system, this allows you to no longer have the much hated edge control. With their graphic design always oriented towards wood and the mountain, Arbor stands out from all other companies for their always clean and elegant look.
