Zoo York

During the 70s in New York a crew of skaters and writers led by Mark Ali Edmunds made themselves known in all 5 boroughs with the name of The Soul Artist of Zoo York. In 1993 a new generation of skaters and writers tired of being neglected by the skateboarding industry, which was always concentrated in California and with the blessing of the original Zoo York Crew, gave life to what we know today as Zoo York. Rodney Smith, Eli morgan Gesner and Adam Smith thus began to produce the first skate brand that represented New York. They started with skateboards and t-shirts in a small warehouse and soon became a full-fledged skateboarding and streetwear brand and distributed all over the world.
