SIC, synonymous with "Sandwich Islands Composites", of founder and shaper Mark Raaphorst has more than thirty years of experience building surfboards, windsurfers and canoes. He is considered one of the pioneers of SUP and is creating the world's most successful competition boards, designed for speed, agility and stability. Their elegant style, with penetrating water lines, quality craftsmanship and attention to detail has earned SIC a reputation for being the best. Mark continues to develop the design and shape for the brand and has now been recognized as one of the shapers driving the rapidly evolving foiling market. His creativity and mastery in shaping is the signature of the SIC brand. In SIC, family comes first and victory goes second, none of this would be possible without the circle of friends and athletes that surrounds SIC. This community or Hui is what gives the SIC brand its face, its personality and its soul.
